Ħajt il-Wied

Ħajt il-Wied, is a zone in the southern of Żejtun, Malta. Wied Mazza (Mazza Valley), separate Żejtun from the localities of Żabbar and Marsaskala. The rainy water of Żejtun first go to this valley, before go to the sea. So the southern part that it is fixed with this valley (wied) is known as "Ħajt il-Wied", that means The Wall of the Valley, in Maltese.

In this area there are many medieval building that goes to the Norman period.
