1998 Davis Cup Asia/Oceania Zone Group III

The Group III tournament was held April 15-19, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on hard courts. The top two teams from each pool advanced to a promotion playoff, while the bottom two were placed in a relegation playoff.[1]
