The 2013 Batang Pinoy, officially known as the 2013 Philippine Youth Games–Batang Pinoy was hosted in Bacolod, Negros Occidental from January 28-February 1, 2014.[1]

It was originally scheduled to be held in Zamboanga City but the Philippine Sports Commission revoked the city's hosting rights to the games following the Zamboanga City crisis. It named Bacolod as the new host of the games, initially to be held from November 19 to 23, 2013.[2] However, due to the aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan, locally known as Typhoon Yolanda, the games had to be postponed to early the next year.[1]
