The 2016 SCTV Awards honored the popular in Indonesian television program and music held on November 30, 2016, at the Studio 6 SCTV in Emtek City, West Jakarta. The ceremony was broadcast on SCTV and hosted by Andhika Pratama, Audi Marissa and Uus.
Nominations for the awards were made by the public through SMS messages and Twitter. A set of judges then determined the winners. SCTV had representing for 14 categories and adding a new categories for Most Famous Newcomer. SCTV also held a Lifetime Achievement Award for legend comedian Indro Warkop for his dedication to the entertainment industry since joined to popular comedy group Warkop DKI.[1]
