ARA San Juan (S-42) is a TR-1700 class diesel-electric submarines in active service with the Argentine Navy. San Juan was built by Thyssen Nordseewerke and completed on 19 November 1985. [1] [2]

Her mid-life refit was done in Argentina between 2008 and 2013. [3]
