Metacritic, a review aggregator that assigns a normalized score, rated it 83/100 based on ten reviews.[3] It was given a 7.3 rating by Pitchfork.[4] Jordan Dowling of ContactMusic.com rated it 8/10 and wrote, "It is not merely background music, as music of a similar ilk is sometimes lazily and sometimes correctly dismissed, but music to get lost in."[5] David Sheppard of BBC Music wrote, "This meditative and cinematic set is a victory for subtlety and sensitivity."[6]
