Aaron Callaghan (born 1 July 1987) is a Northern Irish footballer who last played for Lisburn Distillery in the IFA Premiership. Born in Derry, Northern Ireland, he earned 21 caps for the Northern Irish U21s. He has previously had spells with Sheffield Wednesday, Limavady United and Ballymena United.
Callaghan moved to his hometown-club Derry City in January 2008.[1]
On 28 January 2009 Callaghan joined Dungannon Swifts on a 2 1⁄2-year deal. Despite having still two years to run on his Swifts contract, he opted to sign for Lisburn Distillery after being listed by the Swifts during the close season.
He has had a distinguished career for Rigney Rovers in the Patrick street astro league. With 3 appearances and 19 goals to his name.
He was named player of the day for 29 February and given a sausage roll bap and a bar of soap from docks shop.
In 2014 Aaron started working on a cruise ship and can be found grating cheese with his chest hair Monday-Friday 8pm-2am
