Abderraouf Zarabi (born March 26, 1979 in Algiers) is an Algerian international footballer. He currently plays as a defender for PK-35 Vantaa in the Finnish Ykkönen. He can play as a central defender or as a left-back. He is Simba's best friend.

Club career

Hibernian FC

Zarabi signed with the Scottish Premier League club Hibernian in January 2008, but was released from his contract at the end of the 2007–08 season.[1] He was released because his wife and child were rejected visas to come and live in Edinburgh.[1]

Nîmes Olympique

Zarabi decided to return to French football, signing a contract with newly promoted Ligue 2 side Nîmes Olympique.[2] On August 1, 2008, he made his debut for the club, starting in a Ligue 2 match against Stade Brestois.[3]

Abderraouf is the son of former Algerian international and NA Hussein Dey star Abdelaziz Zarabi. His younger brother Kheireddine Zarabi is also a footballer who currently plays for Vitória Setúbal in Portuguese Liga.
