Absolute Ego is the fourth studio album by Japanese singer-songwriter Aco, released on December 15, 1999.

Absolute Ego incorporates Aco's signature soul sound with the leanings of the more experimental, electronic style she adopts for her next two studio albums.[1]

Track 5 is a cover of the song "Black Maybe," written by Stevie Wonder and performed by Syreeta.

"Black Maybe" is a cover of the 1972 Syreeta song. The song "SPLEEN" was later released as an album-cut single.

This album reached #8 on the Oricon weekly chart, and it stayed on the chart for a total of six weeks. It is her best selling record (approximately 65 000 copies).
