Acanac is a privately held Canadian Residential Communications company founded in 2004. It was acquired by Distributel Communications Limited in 2011, and currently provides High Speed Internet and VoIP services throughout Ontario and Quebec.

As a wholly owned subsidiary of Distributel, it currently operates within the Distributel family of brands, which include ThinkTel Communications and Yak Communications.[1]

Acanac has built its reputation as being a fair, trustworthy brand offering a wide range of plans at industry-low prices. The company operates a community forum on its website, creating and moderating content. In 2016, topics on the community forum exceeded 15,000. [2]
