Acraea periphanes is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in northern Zambia, Malawi, southern and western Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo (Haut-Lomani, Lualaba, Haut-Shaba) and Angola.[2] The habitat consists of marshy grassland.
