Adarius Glanton (born September 21, 1990) is an American football linebacker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He first enrolled at Eastern Arizona College before transferring to Florida Atlantic University. He attended Lake Gibson High School in Lakeland, Florida. He has also been a member of the Carolina Panthers.

Early years

Glanton participated in football, track and basketball for the Lake Gibson High School Braves.[1]

College career

Glanton first played college football for the Eastern Arizona College Gila Monsters. He was named first Team All-Conference and All-Region as a sophomore, recordeing 85 tackles, 5.5 sacks and two forced fumbles.[1] He later transferred to play for the Florida Atlantic Owls from 2012 to 2013.[1]

Professional career

Carolina Panthers

Glanton was signed by the Carolina Panthers on May 12, 2014 after going undrafted in the 2014 NFL Draft. He was released by the Panthers on August 30, 2014 and signed to the team's practice squad on September 1, 2014.[2] He made his NFL debut on October 19, 2014 against the Green Bay Packers.[3] Glanton made his first NFL start against the Cleveland Browns on December 21, 2014.[4] Glanton recorded his first NFL career forced fumble against the Atlanta Falcons on December 28, 2014.[5] In the 2014 season, Glanton appeared in 10 games, starting 2.[4] Glanton was released by the Panthers on September 5, 2015 and signed to the team's practice squad on September 6, 2015.[6][7]

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

On November 30, 2015, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed Glanton off of the Panther's practice squad.[8]
