Bola Afonja

Bola Afonja (born 1943) is a Nigerian politician. He was Minister for Labour under Ernest Shonekan[1] and was once a member of the board of trustees of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP).[2]

He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of First Bank plc, Nigeria's biggest commercial bank. He will be due for retirement from the Board on his 70th year birthday February 21, 2013.
