Ala ud-Daula Simnani
Ala ud-Daula Simnani (Persian: علاءالدوله سمنانی, full name Shaikh Abu-Al-Makarim Rukn-ud-Din Ala ud-Daula Ahmed Bin Muhammad Bin Ahmed Bayabanki Simnani) (1261-1336) was a Persian Sūfī of the Kubrāwī order,[1] a revolutionary writer and a teacher of Sufism. He was born in Semnan, Iran. He studied the tradition of Sufism from Abud al- Rahman Asfariyeni.[2] He also wrote many books on Sufism[3] and Islam.
