Aleksander Kirsebom Salling Sønder (born May 22, 1981) is a Norwegian internet entrepreneur. He is the CEO and Co-Founder of Haxi, a transport sharing application launched in 2014 in Norway.[1]
Career
Ants
In 2012 Soender launched long distance ridesharing service Ants competing with operators like BlaBlaCar and Carpooling on the European market.[2] Ants is considered a potential third competitor down the line.[3]
Haxi
In 2014, Aleksander Soender co-founded Haxi – a controversial[4] transportation network company – along with Joonas Jääskeläinen Kirsebom and Robert Daniel Nagy. Through a webservice and a mobile app, Haxi focuses on connecting people who have a car with people who need transportation.[5]
Since launch, Haxi has grown rapidly and the number of drivers are expected to outnumber the entire Norwegian Taxi force by December 2014.[6][7]
