Alexandra Mary L. Danson (born 21 May 1985) is an English field hockey forward.
Background
Danson has been a member of the England and Great Britain women's field hockey team since making her England debut in October 2001 against Germany.
Danson won a gold medal at the 2016 Olympic Games and a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympic Games.[1][2]
Danson has played club hockey for Reading Hockey Club, Klein Zwitserland, Trojans and Alton. She attended the independent Yateley Manor Prep School and then Roman Catholic Farnborough Hill School.
