Alexander Chepakovich

Alexander Chepakovich is an engineer and finance practitioner best known for his eponymous valuation model.

He is the founder of X-FIN.com,[1] During his career Chepakovich worked at Gomel Power Plant 2, General Electric Company,[2] Alstom, Bank of Canada, ABN Amro Bank, Commerzbank, Edward Jones,[3] ING Bank, and EBRD. In finance, Chepakovich is author of the Chepakovich valuation model.[4][5][6][7][8][9] In engineering, he has done an original research study on single- and two-phase transient jets created by diesel engine injectors.[10] This was part of a work undertaken by a team of graduate students and research engineers led by Professor Philip Hill at the University of British Columbia's Department of Mechanical Engineering, which become the basis of Westport HD technology used by Westport Innovations in its products.[11]

Born in 1963 (Republic of Belarus) , Chepakovich graduated from the Belarusian National Technical University (Thermal Power Plants Engineer) in 1985, in 1993 - from the University of British Columbia (Master of Applied Science), and in 2000 - from McGill University (MBA - Finance). In 2002 he received the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) qualification.
