Alexssander Medeiros de Azeredo, commonly known as Alex (Brazilian Portuguese: [aˈlɛks]), is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a Striker for Allsvenskan club Hammarby IF.

Club career

From 2009 to 2011 he played for Joinville with appearances in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, Copa Libertadores and Copa do Brasil. He spent half of the 2012 season with Joinville Esporte Clube under loan. On the first of January 2016, it was reported that he signed for Brazilian club Resende Futebol Clube, immediately being loaned out to Swedish side Hammarby IF until the end of the season.[1][2][3] But in April the same year, it was revealed that Hammarby initially had signed the player outright on a one-year contract.[4]
