Alfred Lex (10 June 1913 – 11 March 1944) was a Hauptsturmführer (Captain), in the Waffen-SS during World War II who was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross, which was awarded to recognize extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership, by Nazi Germany during World War II.

Alfred Lex was born on the 11 March 1913 at Fohnsdorf near Steiermark in Austria. He was serving in the II.Battalion, 4th SS Panzer Grenadier Regiment Der Führer, 2nd SS Panzer Division Das Reich when he was awarded the Knight's Cross.

Lex was killed in action on the 11 March 1944, west of Shepetovka in the Soviet Union.
