Arbeid Adelt

The Arbeid Adelt or (AA), (English: Labour Is Ennobling), full name Algemeene Nederlandsche Vrouwenvereeniging Arbeid Adelt, was a women's rights organisation active in the Netherlands from 1871 to 1953. It was the first nationwide women's organisation in the Netherlands.

The organisation was founded by Betsy Perk. It was inspired by the debate of women's access to education and different professions, which had been initiated in the Netherlands by Mienette Storm-van der Chijs in the 1860s. The purpose of the organisation was to work for more access to education and professions for females, and to actively support females to support themselves professionally.
