According to the advertisement (24 August 2014) published in the Phileleftheros newspaper, citing as source the company RAI CONSULTANTS(http://www.rai.com.cy/), Alithia Sunday issue circulation in May 2014 was 6.722, and therefore it comes sixth. The seventh is Mahi with circulation 819.

According to Τόμος 1,Μεγάλη Κυπριακή Εγκυκλοπαίδεια, Πρώτη Έκδοση (1990),page 366, Alithia published its first issue as a weekly on the 5th of December 1880, in Limassol, Cyprus. Therefore it is the oldest still-circulating Greek paper on the island. In 1982 it became a daily publication.
