Amanda Houston
Amanda Houston is a British weather presenter employed by ITV Anglia. She is originally from Cumbria.
Career
Houston is originally from Cumbria, however in her teenage years moved to Newcastle upon Tyne, where she became an editorial assistant for the Evening Chronicle. She also worked in club promotions, newspaper sales, radio presenting and more.[1][2]
In September 2004 she joined ITV Tyne Tees as a Business Development Manager. In August 2008 she moved to ITV Anglia as the Weather Presenter. In October 2013 she began covering weather forecasts for various ITV plc regions in England, Wales and the Channel Islands. Since April 2014 she occasionally fronts national ITV Weather forecasts.[3]
