Amphisbaena vanzolinii, also known as Vanzolini's worm lizard, is a worm lizard species in the genus Amphisbaena. This species is endemic to northern South America.[1]
Etymology
The specific name, vanzolinii, is in honor of Brazilian herpetologist Paulo Vanzolini.[2]
Geographic range
It is found in northern Brazil, Guyana (formerly British Guiana), and Suriname.[1]
