Andi Haryo Setiawan, S.H., M.H. and his popular stage name Andi Bayou (born August 20, 1971) is an Indonesian songwriter, producer, arranger and keyboardist player of popular music group Bayou.[1] Currently, Andi officially to join as Brand Ambassador for Roland Keyboard in 2004 until now.

Early life

Andi Haryo Setiawan was born on August 20, 1971, on Yogyakarta, to Prof. Dr. Bambang Irawan and Prof. Dr. Drg. Pinandi Sri Pudyani. Since in his childhood, Andi had became to championship in badminton until national level. When his parents giving an Roland Alpha Juno keyboard and set of musical instrumental, Andi began interest to his music. In his senior high with his band The Wheeze, Andi has winning several festival music band. Andi began pioneering first studio home in his bedroom and studying for arranger, composer and MIDI with his several Roland keyboardist, including Roland S-50.

Andi had ever making for more jingle commercial in TVRI in his hometown. Andi decided to immigrated in Jakarta in 1990 and began studied from jazz musician Indra Lesmana.

Career

Andi began his debut career when songwriter James F. Sundah involved to him as producer, arranger and composer in album of Vonny Sumlang and Premix Band in 1992. In addition, Andi also invited Mus Mujiono, an jazz musician, to collaborate for making her album, The Best of Mus Mujiono, including his two written song "Maafkan" and "Abadinya Cinta".

Andi has joining the group music Bayou in 1995 and began his debut studio album. Their single "Hanya Dirimu", which written by himself, had exploded directly in market. After the band vacuum due to decreased their album in market, his career as arranger exactly more popularity in local industry and established the record studio in his house. Andi has ever collaborate with several musicians, such as Syahrini, Nicky Astria, Iwan Fals, Sheila on 7, Judika, and other for making his album. Andi also ever producing for 2014 compilation album Rising Star Indonesia, including his written song "Come N Love Me" (sung by Indah Nevertari).

In 2016, Andi has held a mini concert for his journey career for 25 years in local music industry, titled My Musical Journey, 25th Anniversary of Andi Bayou in Rolling Stone Cafe, Cilandak.[2][3] In addition, Andi had releasing two singles simultaneously, are "Hanya Dirimu" in acoustic version and "Welcome to the Sea of Love" from his debut album Andi Bayou Jazz Project and also launching his autobiography book.
