Andor Szanyi is a Hungarian weightlifter who competed for Hungary. He won the Silver medal in 100 kg but was disqualified after he tested positive for stanozolol after a doping test. He was second another Hungarian weightlifter after Kalman Csengari tested positive for testosterone and the Hungarian Weightlifting team withdrew from the Games.[2][3][4]
