Andreas Kalckhoff
Andreas Kalckhoff (born 18 August 1944 in Saaz, Bohemia) is a German historian and writer.[1]
Biography
Kalckhoff grew up in Munich, Bavaria, where he studied Bavarian History, medieval history and politics.[2] 1976 he was conferred a Ph.D. by Karl Bosl for a thesis on late medieval nationalism in Scotland[3]
1977-1978 he was subeditor of a historical journal,[4] 1978-1980 assistant professor at the university of Stuttgart in the Institut of Social research, department “Historical Behaviour Studies (Historische Verhaltensforschung)”,[5] and scholar of August Nitschke.[6]
Since 1980 he lives in Stuttgart working as a free journalist and writer[7]
