Andrew Bremberg

Andrew P. Bremberg is the leader of President-elect Donald Trump's transition team for Health and Human Services. He was employed (July 2001-January 2009) by the US Health and Human Services and served as Senior Advisor and Chief of Staff^[1] during the George W. Bush administration.^[2]

Bremberg is currently Policy Advisor and Counsel on Nominations for U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell^[3] and he had also served Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker during his very brief bid for the US Presidency.^[4][5]

Earlier in the election cycle, Bremberg had served as a staff member for the 2016 GOP Platform Committee.^[6]

He had served for five years in private industry, as Department Manager for MITRE, an engineering firm in Bedford, Massachusetts, and McLean, Virginia, which manages Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs) supporting the Department of Defense (DOD), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts on behalf of the Federal Judiciary, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
