Are Vesterlid (28 July 1921 29 August 2013) was a Norwegian architect.

He was born in Strinda as a son of architect Arne Vesterlid (1893–1962) and Gerd Zachariassen (1895–1979). In 1956 he married teacher Gunvor Myhre.[1]

He took architect's education in 1946 and graduated from the Cranbrook Academy of Art in 1953. He specialized in wooden architecture, and was a professor at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design from 1967 to 1998.[2]
