Arthur Black (born 30 August 1943[1]) is a Canadian humorist and radio personality, best known as the longtime host of Basic Black on CBC Radio. He also publishes a regular humour column syndicated to 50 Canadian newspapers.

Black is a three-time winner of the Stephen Leacock Memorial Medal for Humour.

Black now lives on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia.
