Artur Vader

Artur Vader (February 16, 1920 - May 25, 1978) was the Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Estonian Soviet Socialist Republic from 1970 - 1978. He was born in Gorbovo, Liozna Raion, Vitebsk Oblast, Byelorussian SSR.[1]

In 1965 he was awarded the Order of Lenin and in 1973 the Order of the October Revolution.[2]
