Aterpia corticana is a species of moth of the Tortricidae family. [1]
Description
Aterpia corticana can reach a length of about 15–20 millimetres (0.59–0.79 in).[2] Moths fly from July to August. [2][3]
Biology
Main host plants are Aconitum variegatum and Vaccinium vitis-idaea. [2][4]
Distribution
This species can be found in Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Switzerland. [5]
Habitat
It occurs in mountain meadows and forest edges. [4]
