BD Highspire Holdings

BD Highspire Holdings (reporting mark BDHH) is a railroad company that operates 47 miles of track formerly owned by the Steelton and Highspire Railroad. Much of the 47 miles consists of switching and yard tracks. All power is still labeled for the Steelton and Highspire Railroad.

History

The track owned by BDHH was originally owned by Bethlehem Steel Company who leased it to the Steelton and Highspire Railroad. Bethlehem Steel was eventually absorbed into numerous local steel companies to form a new company who continued to lease the track. In 2016, Steelton and Highspire's assets were taken over by a new company, BD Highspire Holdings.[1]

BDHH is owned by Mittal Railways a subsidiary of ArcelorMittal USA.
