Barefoot Theatre Company

The Barefoot Theatre Company is a theatre company in New York City.

It has been described as a "scrappy, young Off-Off Broadway company."[1] Past productions have included the first stage adaptation of Sidney Lumet's Dog Day Afternoon in 2008,[2] and a revival of Lanford Wilson's Balm in Gilead in 2005. [3]

Francisco Solorzano is artistic director; Victoria Malvagno is managing director. [4]

In 2009, Barefoot produced the world premier of the Israel Horovitz short play What Strong Fences Make.[5]
