Basma Riaz Choudhry (Urdu: بسمہ ریاض چوہدری) was born in ?. She is an ex-M.P.A. Member of the Provincial Assembly of Punjab. She is the daughter of Chaudhry Riaz Asghar, ex- District Nazim. M.B. Din (brother-in-law of Ch. Shujaat Husain). She took part in the general elections 2008 from the Constituency PP-117 (Mandi Bahuddin-II) as candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (Q) for the 2nd time, but was defeated by the PPPP candidate Asif Bashir Bhagat by a very small margin.Her office is located in Pahrianwali(Her father's hometown).She is enforced with the loyalists of her father's hometown.High-profile personalities of the area are loyal to her.Chaudhry Zafar Iqbal Warraich is one of the most influential personality of the area supporting her cause.She has an active taskforce of workers supporting her cause in each city.
