Beatriz Stix-Brunell

Beatriz Stix-Brunell (born Miami, 1993) is a ballet dancer presently dancing with The Royal Ballet.[1] She previously danced with Morphoses.[2]

Stix-Brunell trained at the School of American Ballet from 2000 to 2005, when she was admitted to L'Ecole de Danse de l'Opera de Paris where she danced in the Demonstrations de l'Ecole de Danse, Serge Lifar's Entre deux Rondes and Rudolf Nureyev's La Bayadère with the Paris Opera Ballet. As a National Training Scholar at American Ballet Theatre she danced in Kevin McKenzie's Sleeping Beauty.

Alongside her ballet training, Stix-Brunell attended the Nightingale-Bamford School in New York, New York, graduating in 2011.

She has danced in Christopher Wheeldon's Polyphonia and Commedia[3][4] and performed the lead role in his production of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Other roles performed with The Royal Ballet include Princess Belle Rose in Kenneth MacMillan's The Prince of the Pagodas and leading roles in Emeralds and Diamonds (Jewels).
