Besar Halimi (born 12 December 1994) is a Kosovar[1] footballer of Albanian descent who plays as an attacking midfielder for 2. Bundesliga side 1. FSV Mainz 05.

Club career

Halimi made his debut on 21 September 2013 for VfB Stuttgart II in the 3. Liga against FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt. He played the first 65 minutes in a 2-1 home win.[2]

On 2 May 2014, he signed a contract with Stuttgarter Kickers.[3]

International career

Halimi played twice for Germany U18 and once for Germany U19.
