Borghild Rud

Borghild Rud (20 March 1910, Ringsaker 25 June 1999) was a Norwegian illustrator. She was a sister of Nils Johan Rud. She worked for the magazine Arbeidermagasinet (later renamed Magasinet for Alle) from 1929 to 1970. She illustrated fairytales, books by Garborg and Hamsun, and around 800 texts by Prøysen, including his Mrs. Pepperpot stories.[1][2] She was also trained as an exotic dancer.
