BOYS24 (Hangul: 소년24 'Sonyeon Ishipsa', stylized as BOYS24) is a 2016 reality boy group unit survival show that aired every Saturday 10 pm on Mnet and tvN. It is a large-scale project in which the units of a selected number of members will be produced from a pool of 49 free-agents. The winning units perform their very own exclusive stages at a Broadway style K-POP theater after the survival show concluded over the course of a year to later reveal the final members of the permanent boy group. ^[1]

Winners

The winners of BOYS24 are Unit Yellow, Unit White, Unit Green, and Unit Sky. Unit Yellow selected as MVP and win 200 million won (approximately $171,220) of investment into their music production and unit activities promotion.^[2]^[3] Sangmin from Unit Sky withdrawn from BOYS24 due to personal reasons, which included health issues. Online votes was held to pick five contestants who were formerly eliminated on the show to replace Sangmin position.^[4] The votes took place from August 10-15 with the winners of the vote being announced on August 16. Five contestants with the highest votes are Sungho, Yeontae, Hyunuk, Sunghyun, and Jinkyu. Sungho was added to Unit Green, Yeontae was added to Unit Yellow, Sunghyun was added to Unit White, Hyunuk and Jinkyu were added to Unit Sky.
