Brian Hartzer (b 1967)[1] s an Australian business executive who currently serves as the Managing Director and CEO of Westpac.[2]
Education
He graduated from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in European history.
Banking career
He began his executive career as vice president of the First Manhattan Consulting Group, followed by executive positions with ANZ, culminating in the CEO position for the Australia division.
He then took a position as CEO of Ulster Bank. Finally, he joined Westpac in 2012, becoming CEO in February 2015.[3][4]
