Bridgtown

Bridgtown is a civil parish in the Cannock Chase District of Staffordshire, England. It is situated on the A5 between Cannock and Great Wyrley. At the 2011 census, Bridgtown had a population of 1,284.[1]

The Chase Line railway from Rugeley to Walsall passes through the parish, with the nearest stations at Cannock and Landywood. A proposal for a new station serving Bridgtown and nearby Churchbridge was withdrawn in 2005 due to lack of funding.[2]
