Buddleja 'Pride of Hever', known as 'Hever Pride', is a cultivar of the hybrid Buddleja crispa × Buddleja lindleyana raised at Hever Castle Gardens, Edenbridge, Kent, in 1958. [1]

Description

'Pride of Hever' is not described in horticultural literature. However, of the same parentage as Buddleja 'Longstock Pride', it should bear a close resemblance.

Cultivation

'Pride of Hever' is rare in cultivation in the UK. A specimen is grown at the Royal Horticultural Society Gardens at Wisley, and another was included in the Chelsea Flower Show display created by Writtle College in 2008.
