Burkholderia nodosa is a gram-negative, catalase and oxidase-positive, non-spore-forming, bacterium from the genus of Burkholderia and the family of Burkholderiaceae which was isolated from nitrogen-fixing nodules from roots of Mimosa scabrella.[3][4][5]
