C.J. Carter

C.J. Carter (born February 19, 1993) is an American professional basketball player who last played for MZT of the Macedonian First League.^{[1][2][3][4][5]}

High School career

Lettered in basketball all four years for the Bunnies...Named first-team All-Nebraska by the Omaha World-Herald and second-team Super State by the Lincoln Journal Star in 2011. Also honored on the All-Metro First Team as a senior. Helped the Bunnies to a record of 19-6 and a state tournament appearance in 2010-11. BHS finished second in the Holiday Tournament in his junior season, and Carter garnered a spot on the all-tournament team. Also an all-state honorable mention selection in 2009-10. As a sophomore, earned third-team All-Metro recognition and took Benson to the district championship game. Graduated with a 3.5 grade-point average. His AAU team, the Omaha Crusaders, played in the national tournament in Las Vegas. Won the city league with a 16-0 record.

College career

Earned honorable mention All-Summit recognition. Started in all but one game, averaged 13.5 points, 2.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.3 steals per game. Shot .422 (139-329) from the field, .422 (48-142) from long range and .782 (93-119) at the free throw line. Had 25 double-figure scoring efforts, including four with 20 or more points. Poured in a season-high 22 points on 7-for-9 shooting with three treys and a 5-for-5 performance at the free throw line vs. Kansas City (Nov. 13). Pulled down a season-high six rebounds in the season-opener at Northern Illinois (Nov. 8). Went a perfect 7-of-7 free throws and finished with 15 points, five rebounds and two steals at South Dakota State (Jan. 18). Dished out a season-best six on three different occasions: at Central Arkansas (Dec. 28), at Fort Wayne (Jan. 30) and at IUPUI (Feb. 1). Totaled a season-best four steals at IUPUI (Feb. 1). Had eight straight double-figure scoring games from Feb. 1 to March 1. Had 14 points and four assists vs. North Dakota (March 19) in the first round of the CIT, shooting 6-of-9 from the field.

Senior career

Moving out of college Carter signs his first professional contract with MZT Skopje from Skopje, Republic of Macedonia on Feb 5, 2016 in mid season. Participating only in domestic competitions. In 10 competitive games in Macedonian First League he averaged 5.6ppg, 2.4apg and 1.7rpg for 18 minutes spent on court. At the end of the season he won both trophies with MZT Skopje in the First League and the Macedonian Cup where he scored 6 points and 2 assists in the quarterfinal game against KK Best.

Born Feb. 19, 1993 to Charles and Barbara Carter in Omaha, Nebraska. Has three sisters – Essence Carr, Evin Carter and Ebonne Brice
