C-class corvette

C class corvette is a name sometimes used unofficially^[1] to describe vessels of two closely related classes of corvettes of the Victorian Royal Navy.

The nine-ship Comus class launched between 1876 and 1879
The two-vessel Calypso class of 1883–84, a slightly larger and faster refinement of the Comuses.
