Camp Dawson (New Jersey)

Camp Dawson is located in Towaco, New Jersey, a small town within Montville Township. This small camp area is home to a variety of recreational events such as hiking, sledding, soccer, lacrosse, rugby and football. During the winter months, the major attraction here is the steep hill where people come from all around to go sledding. A tough hike up the hill results in a thrilling ride down this hill where you will encounter small bumps and jumps. At the peak of the hill you can choose to have a thrilling ride down the steep hill or glide pleasantly down the gentle decline located on the opposite side of the peak.

Fields

Many Montville sports teams throughout the town use the fields at Camp Dawson. There are two turf fields mainly used for football, soccer and lacrosse. These fields have lighting available for these teams to play at night. These lights must be off no later than 10:30 pm.
