The Capt. John Brewer House is a historic house at 471 Main Road in Monterey, Massachusetts. The house was built c. 1759 by John Brewer, one of the first settlers in what is now Monterey. Brewer came to the area in response to an offer from the owners of the area to establish a mill in exchange for a large land grant. His first house was probably the first in the town; this house, now an L-shaped two story structure with two chimenys, was his second, built nearer the town center.[2]

The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.[1]
