Carl Mcclellan Hill

Carl Mcclellan Hill (July 27, 1907 – April 4, 1995) was an African American educator and academic administrator who served as president of Kentucky State University from 1962-1975.[1][2] He also served as president of Hampton University from 1976 to 1978.[3] He was a graduate of Hampton University and earned his masters and doctorate degrees in organic chemistry from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He received honorary doctorate degrees from the University of Kentucky, the University of Louisville and Eastern Kentucky University; and Outstanding Alumnus at Large from Hampton University.
