Central Boiler

Central Boiler is an American manufacturer of wood- and corn-burning furnaces for residential and commercial applications.[1]

Established in 1984 by Dennis Brazier and located in Greenbush, Minnesota, the privately owned company has promoted its product line as an environmentally friendly renewable energy alternative to traditional oil- and gas-based furnaces. In 2007, Central Boiler signed a partnership agreement with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to promote the manufacture and sale of clean-burning outdoor wood furnaces. Central Boiler was the first company whose products qualified for the EPA Outdoor Wood-fired Hydronic Heaters (OWHH) program.[2][3] Central Boiler also signed a partnership agreement with the EPA for Phase 2.[4]

The Central Boiler E-Classic 2300 was the first to be certified by the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation Air Pollution Control Division [5] and meets the 2010 Clean Air Regulation Emission Limits for Vermont and Maine.[6]

Their "Dual Fuel" models have optional Fuel Oil, Natural Gas, or Propane burners.
