Overview
Chak No. 147/148 NB is a village of Tehsil Sillanwali District Sargodha situated in Punjab, Pakistan. It has the Union Counsil No. 96 of the neighbouring villages.This is surrounded by a canal Rajbah Naurang. Mostly the people rely on agriculture.
History
Chak No. 147/148 NB called (Punjabi: لکھوآنہ) was created almost at the end of nineteenth century. During the nineteenth century there was no population here. This area was like a forest where many types of bushes and trees. It looked like pasture. There was no population after Shaheenabad. So at that time there were not enough crops as compared to today for animals so people come in this region with animals to graze. And the place where this village is situated was a plain ground So at night they encamp there. But thay had to face a big trouble that there was no source of water here. First they bring water with them but later they found a low-lying area on the south-west of the today village where the rain water was gathered. So they stayed at that place and the made temperory buildings to face the storms and rains and after this more people began to come here and in this way a huge village came into existence.
