Chargeware

Chargeware is a form of malware used to corrupt desktop computers and mobile devices. The purpose of the program is to manipulate the user into agreeing to unclear terms for fees and charges. An additional feature is for the malware to have deliberately difficult methods of unsubscribing, so that charges continue for as long as possible.[1] Chargeware is often associated with Internet pornography.[2]
